You can set up custom DNS settings using the HomePass App, as long as your Plume network is operating in Router Mode, following the instructions below. If your Plume network is operating in Bridge Mode, you will have to set up a custom DNS using your router's configuration settings.
iOS
- From the app home screen tap on the Ξ icon and go to the Adapt tab.
- Scroll down and open Advanced WiFi Settings.
- Tap on Use Custom DNS.
- In the DNS fields, enter the desired DNS in the Primary and Secondary server fields respectively.
- Tap on DONE.
Android
- From the home screen, tap on the Ξ icon and then Adapt.
- Tap on the gear icon to bring up Advanced Settings.
- Tap on DNS.
- Slide the toggle switch to Custom DNS.
- Tap on the current DNS and enter the DNS server information in the Primary DNS and Secondary DNS fields respectively.
- Tap on DONE.
