Turning off the Wi-Fi on your existing wireless router will help improve the performance of your Plume Wi-Fi network by reducing channel utilization. Turning the old Wi-Fi off will also avoid confusing your devices.

- Open a browser and enter the IP address 192.168.178.1 to access the Hub Manager
- Enter your user name and password. The defaults are found on the back of the device
- Click on Wireless
- While in the Radio Network section, remove the check marks next to Wireless radio network enabled for both 2.4GHz and 5GHz
- Click on Apply

- Open a browser and enter the IP address 192.168.1.1
- Enter your user name and password and click login. The defaults are admin and 1234
- Hover over the Network Setting option on the bottom toolbar, then select Wireless
- Click on the General tab
- In the Wireless Network Setup setting click on the Disable option for Wireless
- Use the Band drop-down and switch to 5GHZ and repeat the previous step
- Click Apply at the bottom of the page

Note: Your device will need to be connected to the router by Ethernet
- Open a browser and enter the IP address 192.168.1.1
- Click on the Sign In button
- Enter your username engineer and the password (access key) found on the back of the device
- Click on the Sign In button
- Click on Wireless
- Under each Access Point switch the Radio Enabled button to Off. You will have to do this for every access point (SSID)
- Click on Save
