Disable Wi-Fi - Technicolor CGA2121

Please follow the instructions below to turn off Wi-Fi on your Technicolor CGA2121 modem or router:

Step 1: Open your Internet browser and type the IP address of the router in the address bar. The default IP address is 192.168.0.1. After connecting to the device, you will be prompted to enter username and password. By default, the username is "admin" and the password is "technicolor".

Step 2: Click on the big Wireless square button on the dashboard.

Step 3: Disable 2.4 GHz Radio with click on the Wireless Network OFF button.


Step 4: Disable 5 GHz Radio with click on the Wireless Network OFF button.

Step 5: Click Save Settings button.

Note: If your router is Dual Band, you need to disable both the 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz wireless bands. Make sure that you are connected to a Plume wired or wireless Wi-Fi network before turning off legacy Wi-Fi.
