Follow the steps below to disable WiFi on your Century Link router:
Actiontec C1000A/C1900A/C2000A
- Log into the router admin GUI on Web by entering 192.168.0.1 in the browser address bar
- Enter the router login username and password found on the back of your router or provider by your service provider.
- Click on Wireless Setup and then Basic Settings
- Under Wireless Radio switch to Disable
- Click on Apply
Technicolor C1100T/C2000T/C2100T
- Log into the router admin GUI on Web by entering 192.168.0.1 in the browser address bar
- Enter the router login username and password found on the back of your router or provider by your service provider.
- Click on Wireless Setup, choose 2.4GHz and then Basic Settings
- Under Set Wireless Radio State switch to Disable
- Click on Apply
- Click on Wireless Setup again and choose 5GHz and repeat the previous two steps
Actiontec C3000A
- Log into the router admin GUI on Web by entering 192.168.0.1 in the browser address bar
- Enter the router login username and password found on the back of your router or provider by your service provider.
- Click on Wireless Setup, choose 2.4GHz and then Basic Settings
- Under Set Wireless Radio State switch to Disable
- Click on Apply
- Click on Wireless Setup again and choose 5GHz and repeat the previous two steps
Actiontec PK5000/Q1000/Q2000
- Log into the router admin GUI on Web by entering 192.168.0.1 in the browser address bar
- Enter the router login username and password found on the back of your router or provider by your service provider.
- Click on Wireless Setup and then Basic Settings
- Under Wireless Radio State switch to Disable
- Click on Apply
Adtran C424G/ Calix C844G
- Log into the router admin GUI on Web by entering 192.168.0.1 in the browser address bar
- Enter the router login username and password found on the back of your router or provider by your service provider.
- Click on Wireless Setup, choose 2.4GHz and then Basic Settings
- Under Set Wireless Radio State switch to Disable
- Click on Apply
- Click on Wireless Setup again and choose 5GHz and repeat the previous two steps
Cisco DDR2200
- Log into the router admin GUI on Web by entering 192.168.1.254 in the browser address bar
- Enter the router login username and password found on the back of your router or provider by your service provider. Default is User for both Username and Password
- Click on Home Network, choose Wireless and then Basic
- Uncheck the Enable Wireless
- Click on Save/Apply
D-link AC1200
- Open your Internet browser and type the IP address of the router in the address bar. The default IP address is 192.168.0.1. At the login, enter the username (admin) and your password (default password is blank).
- Click on the Setup tab at the top and then click Wireless Settings on the left side.
- Scroll down to the bottom of the page and Click Manual Wireless Network Setup
- Uncheck the Enable Wireless Option and Click Save Settings
Please Note-- If your router is Dual Band, you need to disable both the 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz wireless bands.
ZyXEL C1000Z/C1100Z
- Log into the router admin GUI on Web by entering 192.168.0.1 in the browser address bar
- Enter the router login username and password found on the back of your router or provider by your service provider. The defaults are: admin and Hadsee7j, respectively
- Click on Wireless Setup and then Basic Settings
- Under Wireless Radio State switch to Disable
- Click on Apply
ZyXEL C2100Z/C3000Z
- Log into the router admin GUI on Web by entering 192.168.0.1 in the browser address bar
- Enter the router login username and password found on the back of your router or provider by your service provider. The defaults are: admin and 64f8aaD8, respectively
- Click on Wireless Setup, choose 2.4GHz and then Basic Settings
- Under Set Wireless Radio State switch to Disable
- Click on Apply
- Click on Wireless Setup again and choose 5GHz and repeat the previous two steps
ZyXEL FR1000Z
- Log into the router admin GUI on Web by entering 192.168.0.1 in the browser address bar
- Enter the router login username and password found on the back of your router or provider by your service provider.
- Click on Wireless Setup, choose 2.4GHz and then Basic Settings
- Under Set Wireless Radio State switch to Disable
- Click on Apply
- Click on Wireless Setup again and choose 5GHz and repeat the previous two steps
ZyXEL NBG-419N
- Flip the WLAN switch on the back of the unit to OFF
ZyXEL P-870HN
- Press and hold the WLAN switch for one second and release it. The WLAN LED should tun off.
ZyXEL PK5000/PK5001/Q1000Z
- Log into the router admin GUI on Web by entering 192.168.0.1 in the browser address bar
- Enter the router login username and password found on the back of your router or provider by your service provider.
- Click on Wireless Setup and then Basic Settings
- Under Wireless Radio State switch to Disable
- Click on Apply
