Adding Retail pods to your ISP pod Network
Plume retail pods cannot be added to your Bell Whole-Home WiFi and Comcast xFi pod networks or other ISP provided pods. Management of those pods and its network is via the Bell and xFi apps while Plume pods are managed through the HomePass app.
Adding your ISP pods to a Plume retail pod network
It is possible to add Comcast xFi pods to a Plume Retail network if you follow these steps:
- Purchase a Plume Membership.
- Contact Plume Support to have the xFi pod firmware updated before discontinuing you xFi service. The pod(s) will not be usable for xFi anymore.
- Plume support will add the former xFi pod(s) to your new Plume membership.
Important: xFi pods cannot be added to a Plume network if you have already discontinued your service with Comcast.
Bell Whole Home WiFi pods and other ISP pods cannot be added to a Plume retail network.
